The garden has finally come to a close for planting. I am still working on trellises and supports for certain of the plants. The other thing I am doing is mulching everything I can. Went to a local farm and bought 5 bales of hay/straw. What's the difference anyway? I want at least 3 inches of hay around everything. Keeps down the weeds and the water needs
We have had temperatures the last couple of days in the high 70s. The next two to three days we are going to be pushing 90 F (30 - 33 C)! The rain barrel system of (11) 60 gallon barrels are all set up. Thanks to DH.
